The Details

Tasting Note Pale straw yellow in colour. Aromas of ripe peaches, stone fruits and fig with a delicious waft of wild honey and native wildflowers. The layers of flavour on the palate reflect not only the Chardonnay fruit but the use of wild fermentation, malolactic fermentation and ageing on yeast lees. A faint hint of oak comes through on the palate as toasty vanilla, while balanced acidity provides a refreshing finish
Best Enjoyed With Enjoy with barbeque chicken, caesar salad, or pasta with a creamy sauce.
Treatment Our winemaking is centred on minimal intervention with the use of wild yeasts, malolactic fermentation, lees contact and subtle oak to give our Chardonnay wonderful complexity, depth and lots of personality

Accolades

Smart value
A good Chardy that ticks all the boxes from Oxford Landing. Committed to the environment, these Regenerate wines put the spotlight on the winery's approach to sustainability. The planting of drought-tolerant varieties, 100% recycling of winery waste water, the use of light weight bottles and the focus on a biodiverse vineyard are only a few of the steps taken to fulfil this intent. Respectable detail comes in the form of yellow and white fleshed stonefruit, cut melon and figs. A little caramalised peach slides in too as does some vanilla. The pitter-patter of ginger spices roll out on a neat finish. This is good stuff and smart value, particularly as you could find it a bit better than the RRP. Drink now.
